Tbilisi and Gudauri Quick Getaway


Day 1 - Arrival at Tbilisi

Guests arrive at the Shota Rustaveli Airport in Tbilisi. After traditional welcome at the airport, guests are driven straight to the beautiful Gudauri which is about 2 hours by road from Tbilisi. After check-in, guests are free to wander and fill themselves with the breath-taking views of the place.

Day 2 - Half-day tour of Tbilisi

After breakfast, guests leave for a half-day tour of the resort and indulge in some adrenalin-pumping adventure activities. It takes them to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jvari Monastery, Gergeti Trinity Church, the castle of Ananuri and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. After this, guests are free to experience activities like skiing, free-riding, night-skiing, helicopter rides, mountain climbing, paragliding, mountain biking and white-water rafting (in the summer season).

Day 3 - the ski resort

After breakfast, guests’ checkout of the hotel and leave the ski resort to be driven down to Tbilisi. The remaining part of the day is free for guests to explore the Georgian city.

Day 4 – Half-day Sightseeing tour of the city

This day guests are treated to a half-day sightseeing tour of Tbilisi after breakfast. TheTbilisi tourstarts with a visit to the 2010-opened Peace Bridge on the Mtkvari River; followed by a gondola ride over Mtkvari River; visit to the Narikala Fortress built in the 4th century BC; and then visit to the city centre. Here guests catch glimpse of Mother Georgia – a 20 metres tall statue of a woman with a cup of wine and a sword in hand welcoming guests to her region. Finally, guests walk down the Old Town of Tbilisi that is reminiscent of an era gone-by.

Day 5 – Departure

Time to leave Tbilisi. Guests are driven back to the Shota Rustaveli International Airport, Tbilisi for their journey back home.

A ski resort located at an altitude of 2000 metres above the sea level, this place is the highest point of settlement on the Georgian Military Road. The place is popular for skiing and the ideal season is from December to April. Mount Sadzele and Summit Kudebi are two popular destinations here. A gondola ride and chair lifts are also quite popular here. Heli-skiing, paragliding and speed-riding are some preferred adventure activities for tourists here.
